Favorite Chez Alice Opens Café at Grounds For Sculpture
Hamilton,
NJ
Chez Alice
has been serving the greater Princeton area since 1991 through its
gourmet shop on Nassau Street, and its off-premise catering. Recently,
after an extensive search, they were selected to open a new location
in the Café at Grounds For Sculpture, a 35-acre sculpture
park and museum located in Hamilton, NJ.
Chez Alice,
Inc. owner Kelly Hamdan and Executive Chef David Ryan have hit the
ground running with a wide array of services for visitors to Grounds
For Sculpture. The café, located in the Domestic Arts Building,
is open 10 am – 4 pm, Tuesdays through Sundays, and offers
a selection of gourmet sandwiches, salads, and daily specials at
prices that range from $x to $x. Seasonally, the Gazebo Café
(located by the lotus pond) will also be operated by Chez Alice.
Visitors wishing
to dine at their favorite spot on the grounds can order a picnic
basket and enjoy a leisurely meal in the sunshine. Ready-to-Go Lunches
can be made for visiting tour groups. Reservations are being taken
for special brunches, available at the Café on Easter, Mother’s
Day, and Father’s Day, as well as for delicious prix-fixe
dinners, available before concerts at Grounds For Sculpture. As
an approved caterer at Grounds For Sculpture, weddings, graduations,
special holidays, and corporate events can be arranged.

Grounds For
Sculpture, a 35-acre sculpture park and museum, has captivated visitors
since 1992, and has only gained in popularity as more of the public
discovers its tranquil setting and engaging sculpture. Indoor exhibits
of emerging and well-known artists are shown throughout the year
in two expansive, glass-walled buildings that were once exhibit
halls for the New Jersey State Fair. Over 200 contemporary sculptures,
from monumental to smaller scale, can be found on the beautifully
landscaped grounds. Grounds For Sculpture also offers gardens, water
features, the exciting Rat’s restaurant, the Museum Shop,
and Toad Hall Shop & Gallery. Educational programs are scheduled
throughout the year offering lectures, hands-on art activities,
tours, and more.
